Magazines for Larue OBR

Living in the gun-friendly state of NY we are limited to 10 rd capacity magazines unless they are pre-ban. Anyone know if there is a pre-ban 20rd magazine that will work in the OBR?

Unless you can find some old KAC pre-ban SR-25 or really old AR-10 waffle mags, you're not likely to find a legal 20 round mag in NYS that fits that pattern.

The La Rue OBR is a Knights,or DPMS, pattern lower, so the 10 round magazine that DPMS has on it's website will work with the OBR.

I know that doesn't answer your question about preban magazines, but at least there are new magazines you can buy in the meantime.

Those are available in NYS and that's the largest magazines that can be shipped into this state. Any mag made after Sept 13th 1994 that holds more than 10 rounds is banned here.

All of my SR25 mags are pre-ban. There are enough out there that you can find some. Expect at least $100 each.

Keep a watchful eye out here, on BARFCOM and similar sites for pre-ban SR-25/old AR-10 waffle mags. Several waffle mags sold not long ago on BARFCOM for $50/mag which I thought was a STEAL for anyone behind enemy lines (such as yourself).
