Magazines

I am going to purchase some magazines for my Maten Rifle. I was going to purchase the Pmag, but heard from a friend that the OAL of a cartridge that it would handle was less than the DPMS magazine. Has anyone else run into this? I hope to get at least the 2.80 OAL for 7.62 ammo.

You won't have any difficulty running 2.80" COAL with the 20LR/7.62 PMAGs.

The mags were purpose-built around the M118LR round which I believe (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) has a COAL of 2.81".
