Magneto Speed giving crazy numbers

I have an almost new Magneto speed sporter, I took it out today to check the numbers on some factory ammo. The first 10 went just as expected, the second 10, I get one round at 3816 fps, and another at 1750 fps. This was with Norma Match .223 77 gr. OTM. The sensitivity was set at Hi 2, from a previous session chronoing .22lr. Any idea on whats going on? Thanks.

Likely the sensitivity setting to high and picking up gas or powder on the high number, dont know about the lower number but back that off a bit and fire for effect.

Weird buddy today had a similar problem. He just unplugged and restarted it and it was fine. Never had this issue with mine. Both the regular "non-sporter" version.

I second the sensitivity setting probably to high for a 223 vs a 22LR

Thanks guys, I suspected it was either the sensitivity setting, or it needed a new battery.
