Those that have the Wiser Precision mount, or the older MK mount
which do you like?
I was one of them guys received mkm g3 and i can honestly say...it shifts POI egen setting sensitivity higher and making bayonet bit away from muzzle bore..Have either of you noticed any effects on poi with the wiser mounts, or enough flex in it to cause a strike to the bayonet?
This has plenty explanations..I'm a bit confused. How does your MK mount "shift" your POI? The original MagnetoSpeed strapped onto your barrel, suppressor, whatever? Yeah, it understandably shifted POI. How does a mount that is affixed to a picatinny rail or dovetail influence the barrel?

Its something to do with trajectory deflection
Like i said i was one of those guys who fortunate to tried latest mkm...5 shots group doesnt walk on its own im not talking about flyers...have you tried those mount? If you think that's what's happening, then more power to you

You have something right next the bore millimeters away from the bullet exiting the barrel. There is the possibility of disturbing the bullet flight.
I’ve use the old MK mount and the newest MK Mount. As well as a few others.
I would have a poi shift about .2 away from the bayonet no matter where it was. Put it low left and the poi would move high right, etc etc.
This was consistent across several rifles and barrels. Not everyone reports a poi shift and I’m glad you haven’t experienced it. However, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
So, to answer your question, it doesn’t affect the barrel harmonics, but it can affect the bullet leaving the muzzle.
That’s exactly what’s happening in some cases.
Canezach,
Might I ask, what do you think is happening to the dozens of shooters who are getting repeatable POI shifts with these Magnetospeed mounts?
Not at all trying to be offensive, but if you suspect something else, do share.
I get no shift with the wiser mount.
I also max out the sensitivity and hold thebayonet away from the bullets Path a bit extra
Check your measurement Distance settings on the Labradar.Good to know. I bought a Wiser a couple months ago but have not used it yet. I've only used the Magnetospeed on the AR-10 so far and did a comparison with the LabRadar that had more variation than expected. I got the Magnetospeed mostly because my son wants to get into ELR comps and I think it's good to be able to get MV live when learning to ELR comp.
