Yes. Just work the load back up and see what it does. </div></div>
Cutting the powder charge and working it back up for that type of primer will indeed work. If you only have a few I would offer to trade with a friend that also loads magnum loads. If you have several thousand then it might be worth it to work up a new load with the mag primers. Personally, I wouldn't do it for just a hundred or two. But that's just me. You need to do whatever YOU think is the right thing.
