Is this the one with the hole in the barrel just in front of the chamber so you don't blow cases?

STRICK9 has one in 22WMR, and it's a lot of fun to shoot. Pretty accurate for a rimfire.
A case failure sent the extractor off into the weeds, replacement parts cost about 20 bucks.
Buy several mags, and get ready to spend a few hours stoning the trigger since they come heavier than a russian boar.
Replacement components are plentiful since all the little moving bits are stock ruger 10/22
