Magpul/ARMS BUS??

Alright so I'm building a couple budget ARs for two family members. All I need now are some rear "irons". For budget reasons I am considering the Magpul Polymer BUS or the A.R.M.S. #71 Polymer, rear sights only. They are light barreled carbines and will only see light duty range use. I am a steel and wood kinda guy but they wouldn't know the difference. What say the Hide? Are they any good? Other brands or good price point sights available?

The Magpul MBUS sights should be about perfect. Durable and reliable. That is the way I would go for what you're describing.

Similar priced option could be a used Matech, but I would still get the MBUS personally.

If you want fixed . . .
Troy has a fixed rear sight that goes for $50 and are solid. Daniel Defense 1.5 rear fixed BUIS are nice, but a little more expensive.

Should all hold up well to range use.

I got a set of MBUS on my ar-15 and havn't had any issues.
