Magpul Bipod...Good or Bad for Accurate Shooting?

I got myself a Magpul bipod. I don't remember why I thought this was a good idea, so don't ask me. I stuck it on my AR-15, which is a mid-tier gun with a stock barrel, and I shoot Australian Outback 55-grain varmint ammo because that's what I have.

I only recently watched the gas gun videos here, and I have been applying the information. It makes a big difference. I am down to about 1.27 MOA for 20 shots. I think the gun and ammo can do better, because my gas gun technique is still not consistent.

I am wondering if anyone here has tried to shoot accurately with a Magpul bipod. It's pretty wibbly-wobbly. I thought maybe I could overcome that with good technique, but maybe that's wrong. Maybe I should put a Harris on the gun.

Also, I had difficulty getting the rear bag under the gun comfortably with the bipod in the lowest position. Is it important to be as low as possible, or should I jack the legs up until the bag fits better?

Let's see. I'm in luck. Atlas only makes three CAL bipods in the height range I need, so I can eliminate the other three and only spend half as much time pulling my hair out figuring out which one is right.

Must be bipod day.

I hate how particular you have to be on deploying atlas bipod legs.

On a run and gun bipod the magpul does what it needs to do. Harris too. I went back to Harris style for hunting rifles except for the long range rig.

1.27moa for 20 shots is good shooting.
