Can a 223 ADL drop into this? Or do you have to buy bottom metal for it to work with the mag?

it's cut for a 700 short action and the bottom "metal" is included. A quick internet search told me it should work, you'd just need to get an AICS pattern 223 mag. I think MDT sells a polymer one, Magpul doesn't. As always, please do your own research.

Can confirm. Magpul stock with Magpul bottom metal, MDT .223 mags and 700ADL Tactical work great.
