Did you happen to shop around at all before you thought you would ask? Your not going to find a "cheap" PRS because Magpul does not allow dealers to sell below MAP. So, you can either buy one used, or pony up and pay for one like what everyone else does.

WOW there's some good advice, give the guy a break, he just as a question. I have found them as cheap as 189.00 and that is from Feek's Tactical in Leonidas Michigan, a small range I go to when i'm at home. You can Google them I know they have a web site but not sure if they do mail order sales.

Re: MagPul stock advice

Thanks for the heads-up about those smaller shops. I already got my stock and lower, so I'll check them out on the next build. Feek's may require a stop next road trip south (I'm ~2 hours above Detroit). Now it's onto getting the upper and figuring out how to time a muzzle brake. I'll post some pictures when it's all finished. Thanks again for all your help.

Re: MagPul stock advice

I am looking at the same stock for my .308 set up, this is what I have found. Ebay has one for $209 free shipping. Cals Sporting Armory has them on sale for $186 + shipping which ends up being cheaper.

Re: MagPul stock advice

With the advice from you guys, I was able to save a lot of coin. I got the lower in trade and Les Baer charges me ~$212 for everything. DPMS had a clearance on the grip, so I sepnt total ~$240 (shipping incl.) for the beginning of my first precision semi-auto rig. Sorry for the poor picture quality and thanks again.
