I know most of us already have our opinions on what's best, but here's a quick video I made for those new to bipods.

Thanks, yes I really like them both, but Atlas is hard to beat...good video - fair overview - i bought the magpul as my first bipod - it worked - i bought the atlas to upgrade - still carrying the magpul in my bag yet odds are i wont use it again even for a 2nd rifle
Probably won't hear from Magpul if you need their bipod modified so it to adjusts easier though. I was asked to send my Atlas in to Kasey, so he could "look at it". What I got back( at no charge) was a bipod that adjusts better/easier, than I ever thought possible. My arthritis weakened hands prompted my question to him. Service after the sale like this is tough to find these days! Thanks, yes I really like them both, but Atlas is hard to beat...
Thanks, and just like @acudaowner said Atlas support is unmatched.liked the comparison video very nice . I love my atlas bi pods I guess I am going to have to get another as I don't yet own one of those he mentioned yet .
Harris for the win!!

My focus was geared towards the stock configuration Moreno than a bunch of add on features...Nice comparison.
BTW, you forgot to mention the fact that the Atlas can also extend the maximum length by adding leg sections (the same way you change out the feet). And there are multiple different feet available, including metal spikes or claws.
I too feel that they are best on an AR platform. My only aggravation with Magpul is that I never could fully lock out the cant...if you have an AR10/SCAR20 with some heft...it moves on you....they are great for AR15 platforms...
