That's fair, I don't think being a controversial public figure would be very fun at all.
In fact, I would pretty well expect it to be one of the most miserable things I can imagine.
I will not move to California. As I've said a time or two now, California and its citizens can be considered to be my enemy, no matter how decent of folks they happen to be. California, almost in its entirety, is what I'd label "hopelessly compromised."

I live in Texas. Texas on the state level is suffering greatly from communist influence, but on the local level, there are still millions upon millions of men and women who know right from wrong. On average, a lot of people are not well versed in anything outside of their work and entertainment.
Still, though, even young, ignorant, never-trumping, beto-loving, die-hard democrats want to see this bitch suffer the same fate as the child she snuffed the life out of.

There's still hope for us, and the same is true in many other states. The hurdles are ignorance, fear, and prejudice. It's not an easy problem to solve in the world of mass adoption of communist platforms, a centralized and communist controlled media (Fox included, perhaps especially), and legislation prohibiting peaceful assembly, but I believe where there's a will, there is a way.
BTW, this deep red vs blue straight ticket shit is for fucking peasants. Would it really matter at all that a state was "deep red" when all of its representatives are just like McCain or Flake? No it wouldn't.
Conclusion - If you live in Cali and you're not a communist, stop supporting our enemies and GTFO.
Move somewhere else, and vote for the 'Hide member that's running for mayor, city council, and any other elected position, or step up to be considered for appointment to positions like CLEO.
