I am about to purchase a manner T3 stock. Should I purchase mini chassis or just go with bedding? I dont have much info on the mini chassis just what I have seen. It would be BDL, I dont care much for magazines but that is just me.

Clips? You mean magazines for the rifle? If so then the mini chassis isn't for you a all it takes is magazines. If you want a standard BDL hinged floorplate than order it that way and bed it.

Really? Didn't know that. Haven't been to their site in a while. That Tom Manners is on the ball LOL

The mini chassis is a great system. My last T3 has it and it's nice to be able to pop the action in and torque it down and shoot.

Honestly if you are using a hinged BDL floorplate there isn't much advantage over bedding as if you are getting it bedded then the cost will probably be a little cheaper. The Mini Chassis is nice if you plan on using multiple barreled actions in the same stock or if you were going to use a DBM as DBMs usually run the same as the mini chassis so you get the DBM and save any bedding costs by being able to just drop the barreled action in.

If you are only using the stock with one barreled action and hinged floorplate then I would get the T3 inletted for your action and bottom metal and get it bedded.
