Manners Compact Stock: User experiences?

For those of you who own the manners compact stock, what are your thoughts? How solid is the pad and lockup? Any issues w/ cheek weld?

While I don't own the stock, I did have a chance to check it out at the GAP Grind a few weeks ago. It's is ROCK SOLID.

I will let you know when I get mine. Not sure what the hold up is. It was getting inletted on August 15th. No word since, and no call back from my voicemail to manners.....

Mine has been rock solid so far. My new one was ordered with the cheekpiece ( I ordered the pictured one with the Manners Group Buy after SHOT and didn't know the cheek piece was available ). Extendable buttstock has been perfect. Cheek weld is OK. Origin / Proof 20" / Pulsar Trail XP50 / Manners / Timney CE / TBAC in .223.

I live mine, actually prolly my favorite manners so far, and I have quite a few, it locks up like Fort Knox, I have the adjustable new cheek piece and honestly with my 56 mm atacr I took 2 of the 4 spacers out to drop the height on it, I would prolly be fine without it as well. Go for it you’ll love one!

Yep - after I saw yours, I PM'd Tom Manners and asked if it could be retrofitted with the cheek piece. He said send it in, they'd add one. But, like you, I like the stock a lot, so I just ordered a second one. They are cool...........

FYI look at the flat top section on Manners website they have several that just need inletting, you could pick one of them up pretty quick
