I'm planning a light weight build using a Manners EH-4 stock. I have a Remington 700 SPS AAC-SD, 20" barrel with the 1:10 twist. I'm trying to keep the build under 10lbs without changing the barrel or action other than a possible chop to 18.5". My plan is to have a "lightweight" accurate rifle that I can take out to 800 yds/meters yet not be such a burden to hump around in the mountains.
I'm very interested to see if anyone is running a similar setup and might be able to post some pictures. Particularly with the EH-4 stock with SPS 20" barrel, but anything similar would interest me as well. Please post approximate weight of your system if possible along with any other specs that you feel like including. Especially any mods or accessories that you feel helped you keep the weight down.
For instance, I love the Premier Heritage but am leaning heavily toward a Zeiss Hensold 3-12x56 for the weight difference, and also the Manners BDL min-chassis rather than the DBM again for the weight mainly. Thank you to anyone who might have some insight or pictures.
