Manners MCS-T?

Re: Manners MCS-T?

I love mine. Dropped some serious weight off my rig when I had the B&C installed prior. Makes it much easier to offhand. Make sure you bed it though.

Good Luck,
Merritt

Re: Manners MCS-T?

Once upon a time Manners made a stock, it was a very fine stock, portable, light and ever so right. MCS-T had big brothers MCS-T5,4,3,2 &1. The entire MCS family were of very good stock too with daddy Tom popping them out left right and center. For a multi purpose rife the T or T3 is best and all the shooters in the land liked it just so. The end

Re: Manners MCS-T?

I have two. One on my primary hunting rifle and one on a 20" really light 7-08 winter time carry rifle. I will NOT be looking to replace either one of them anytime soon. With a eagle stock pack my cheek weld gets me to just the right spot. I highly recommend them. It's hard to go wrong with a manners.

Re: Manners MCS-T?

The manners stocks are pretty hard to come by. I would suggest looking at the 'Ready to Ship' section on the Manners website. Also Stockys Stocks carries a limited supply of Manners. If you order from Manners and have them build to your specs be prepared for about 16 weeks of waiting. Very nice stocks, I love my T5.

Re: Manners MCS-T?

I am hopefully ordering a manners for my 6.5 cm. I have heard that no one can beat Tom's customer service(which to me is very important) and I have not heard anything bad about them.

I agree, having the adjustable cheek piece is priceless for a repeatable cheek weld, even if it is all the way down.

I think I am getting the t2a. I like the pistol grip with large slot for my thumb and the angled bottom on the butt makes it easier for me to adjust the sand bag in the prone position.

A buddy has this same stock minus the adjustable cheek piece and he wouldn't trade for anything.

Here's an OD green one on my Win Mag hunting rifle - 90% Carbon shell, Flush cups, bedded, fresh out of Tom's mold!

Absolutely awesome stock - light, built like a brick shit house, and very comfortable.

Re: Manners MCS-T?

I ordered my MCS-T on or about June 1. I got a call last week saying the stock went to inletting, and would ship in 2-3 weeks. So far it's about 22 weeks, but I don't think this is typical and probably has something to do with their move. I got my MCS-T5A in about 6 weeks in early 2010.
