Kinda strange since I ordered a stock 1 week earlier and all they can tell me is that its in production.
His also has a fancy 6 color multicam.
Go figure. </div></div>
It's because they don't build stocks one at a time. They run batches.
Think about it, what's more effecient? Grabbing a work order in sequential order, taking it back and building that stock, then going and grabbin the next work order, or grabbing 20 or so at a time that are configured similar, or the same style and knocking them out all at once?
Think about this too, what if they have a lot of one style they are building for a large order to say GAP or some other rifle builder who uses their stock on a build. Well if that stock is a T4 and they have to bring out the T4 mold to make 20 stocks, I imagine it would be a situation where they find how many T4's are on order and mold those while they're at it.
Now I don't know for sure exactly how Manners conducts their business, but this would seem logical. </div></div>
I know I didn't know that there is a spot on manners web site that if someone doesn't pay for the stock they sell them right from there web site! Titled Stocks ready to ship
No wait involved...
