Have a new MCS-T with mini chassis and the mag well is very tight, as is the release lever, not allowing free movement of the mag in and out of the mag well.
What is the best way to relieve the mag well or smooth it up? Emory cloth and then jewelers rouge to polish or some other method?

    Re: Manners Mini-Chassis

I agree with Harry; let Manners fix it so it's right. I've got a T4 with mini chassis on order, still about ten weeks from delivery. If you don't my asking; about how long did it take to get yours? Waiting for this baby is driving me nuts!

    Re: Manners Mini-Chassis

+1 for letting Manners fix it. They are a top notch company that will take care of it no questions asked. It could just be a bad one from Badger and they can swap it out.

Send me your contact information and I will get you fixed up asap. Thank you

    Re: Manners Mini-Chassis

Just another shining example of Mr. Manner's business ethics and professionalism. I cannot say enough good about the man and his product!

    Re: Manners Mini-Chassis

Measured the mag and it is definately on the plus side at the top of the box. Sending stock in to let the magic Manners do his, well, magic!

    Re: Manners Mini-Chassis

Update: Manners magic shines through again!
Barrel channel was tight at the lug area putting the action in a bind. Opened up a little and she runs like bearings in butter!
Interesting side note, yesterday when I rezeroed the schtick I gained 1.5 mills in elevation back from original T4A stock (S&B 4-16-42)with tube cut from 27" to 22". 5 rounds after re-zero into ONE hole. Firm believer in the Manners chassis and I'll not own another stock other than Manners...

    Well done Thomas!

I have some AICS mags that are not created equal as in one setup about half of them fit freely and half do not. </div></div>

I'm in that same boat as well. I have 1 AICS mag that is a total pain in the ass. It looks identical to all my other mags, but it doesn't fit in the mag well correctly. I have to force it in and out.

Before you screw up your rifle, I'd get a hold of another mag and try it. Heck, order an Alpha mag and see how it fits. That will tell you pretty quickly whether it's the chassis (I doubt it), or the magazine.

Anyone know if Accuracy International has a warrenty for their magazines? Sounds like I'm not the only one who has a to-fat-to-use magazine.
