Honestly my man I don’t think you can go wrong with scorched earth. I’ve got back in black and it matches the CF barrel well. But everyday I think about painting it.
Yea that was the main reason I didn’t go with b in b…I didn’t want it to look like a plain black or plain carbon rig. Scorched earth doesn’t seem too busy, which I like. Everglades looks sweet too, just not sure if it the paint would be too metallic for my taste. Really excited to see how the chopped carbon looks with scorched earth.
6.5 Creedmoor. You won’t regret getting the scorched earth. I also have a manners eh1-a in scorched earth. As you can tell, I like that color pattern hahaha.

To be honest I hate every barrel over 16” especially in the NS stock.
I have a 17” 6cm coming to drop in the night stalker that I’m also waiting for. What are you shooting through it? And what kind of velocity with the 14”?
Nightstalker pistol! Also curious what velocity you're getting out of the 14" currently have a 16" .308 barreled action that is slated for my NS, but I am thinking about swapping the barrel for a 16" 6.5PRC

It was originally a Back N Black stock that I planned on painting over. I just cleaned it real good with soapy water then wiped everything down with acetone and taped it off. Used duracoat but practiced on an old plastic factory stock first. There’s definitely a technique, at least the way I wanted it to look. I used a big sponge from the hardware store but tore off a bunch of small pieces to give it more texture. You don’t want to press real hard and you don’t want to drag it. Just light dabs
Good to hear. I’ve got a scorched earth NS that should be getting close. Nice to see there is an option if I get the urge to tweak anything color wise. I’ve painted several over the years, just never a carbon stock like these. Your looks great!

Here's mine with a PBB heavy palma. I don't think the EFR is going to be the limiting factor on barrel diameter.

That looks like the ARCA rail that comes on the LRH and Pro Hunter. Definitely not the one that comes standard with the Night Stalker
That’s kinda what I was thinking. I’ll holler at them next week and see what I can figure out. Worst case, it will still fit my needs for running it on a tripod, but it would be nice to have the full length one if possible.
My bolt hits the riser on my EH1-A long action as well. I use a Weibad cheek pad to get me the little more I needed.
Note that the one its supposed to come with isn't really 'full length either though, but should be right around 8"
It was for me. I ended up selling it in the classifieds though. I didn’t like how it sat on the cheek riser (kind of flared out). I’d recommend just doing your own kydex riser to Velcro on top of your current one. I did that for my night stalker, even though I didn’t need too. I just like a more rounded cheek rest for comfort. I’ll take a picture later and show you what I mean. It seriously took all of 5 min with a heat gun and then a few more with some spray paint to try and match.
That’s cool. And simple. Plus I have kydex on hand if I decide to go that route. Thanks for the idea.
