I have a manners night stalker stock, a pure precision SKLTN action and I’m waiting on a preferred barrel blanks carbon barrel. It’s going to be chambered in 6CM and used for coyote hunting at night mostly. I’m looking for advice on which m5 bottom metal and a trigger to go with? The mdt bottom metal has my interest, what are your thoughts on that?
Thanks,

I prefer the Hawkins hunter DBM. Run their flush fit mags or AICS style mags. No probs with the MDT Precision DBM except the price. For a hunting rifle, especially for night stuff, the mag latch release inside the trigger guard on the Hawkins Hunter DBM is a nice design. They don't catch on anything and mags only come lose when you want them to.

I’ll take a look at it, thanks for the recommendation

I use the Hawkins Hunter bottom metal on my night stalker. I use their Hunter mags as well as MDT metal mags in it without issue. I will say that the polymer MDT mags do not fit into my Hawkins bottom metal. They would require some minor filing and I’m too lazy for all that, so only metal is my recommendation.
