Manners on Anschutz 1700 series

I recently picked up my second Anschutz 1700 heavy barrel rifle...a .22lr to match my .22 hornet.

Part of me really wants to take one, chop the barrel down to about 20" and put it in a Manners stock. I'm still not sure which it would be, but how serious of an undertaking would it be to put an Anschutz into a Manners stock?

I also have a major proble as same as you.

Firstly, I plan to threading my Anschutz 1710 D HB for Suppressor. But there are many people warn me about the result of threading and re-target crown.

It might be destroy the accuracy group of factory accuracy which is the main benefit that make you purchase Anschutz.
