I plan to paint a custom camo pattern on my new Manners stock. Does anyone know what type of paint to use?

Krylon seems popular. So does Rustoleum.

Manners uses Polane-T on their stocks. Same paint as McMillan . Very tough and durable. Hope this helps. Paul.

Thanks Paul. I went with spray paint after all. I am going to clear coat after the base coat is finished. I hope it will hold up. Pics coming soon.

Krylon works well if you are a DIY and don't want to get a spray gun, compressor, the whole works to paint your stock.

You can buy a flat clear coat at Home Depot that will help protect the krylon paint.

I haven't put the clear to it yet. Sledge Hammer painted his T5 yesterday and used a satin clear coat (I forget the brand). He advised the shine as minimal. It looks very nice. I screwed up my camo pattern the first time so I had to go back over it. Pics coming soon.
Thanks Short Bus... I bought a POS cheap detail sprayer and tried to ad some detail to the stock with it. I got what I paid for. Nothing another coat of primer didn't fix.
