Manners stock questions (T5-A)

I'm looking to put a new stock on my remington model 700. I want detacheable mag capability but I just don't like the look of the AICS. I'm looking at the Manners T5-A but I wanted to know if its a good stock and all.

Also the reason for this thread, will it work with the Badger Ordnace bottom metal with detacheable mag? I plan on having the action pillar bedded in the new stock and the bottom metal added at the same time

The T5A is a really nice stock. I was able to play with one at ASC this year and really liked it.

As far as a DBM, check out Manners new DBM Mini Chassis, it looks pretty slick for sure, just hoping for a M2008 version!!

The DBM min chassis requires no bedding right? And its made by Badger so it should be solid. What mags does it use?

Also I have the long action model 700 chambered for .300WM. So I'm not going to be able to use the mini chassis.

Is there an ETA date on the long action model?

The T5-A with the Mini-chassis comes with one AI 5 round magazine. The mini chassis is bedded to the stock by Manners and does not require any additional bedding.

I sent mine to my smith to have it skim bedded while he was fitting and chambering a new barrel and he suggested I shoot it as is. He does not believe it will need to be skim bedded as have a couple of integrated bedding systems from other mfg. I have owned. The stock is extremely well made, well balanced and you will get it when it is promised.

My 2 stocks were promised 12 weeks from January 12th. I received the first one a week early and the 2nd a week late. I can't ask for any more than that and Christie, Todd and Tom are all great to deal with.

The 700 long action and the badger 2008 short action mini chassis are in the works. I should know a firm delivery date by the end of this week, we will also start taking orders on them then.

There has been a tremendous response for the mcs-t5a and the t5 stocks. Because of this we have added 2 additional sets of T5A tooling to keep up with demand and are getting caught back up on orders, to be on the safe side we are now quoting 14 weeks on new orders for the mcs-t5a and about 11 weeks on the new mcs-t5. I'm placing my order for the T5A and mini chassis the day the long action model comes out.
