Manners stock with mini chassis question

I just got my 300WM build back and noticed when I open the bolt back and go forward on an empty magazine the bolt stops by hitting the magazine follower. I have not loaded any ammo in it but I would assume it would load fine except you have to push the magazine follower down to get the bolt to close on an empty magazine.

any idea?

Hmmm... I would call Manners tomorrow and see what they think the deal is.

If you mean the bolt is hitting the plastic of the AI mag then that is normal (effectively a bolt stop feature to stop you chambering thin air...). In order to alleviate this just strip the mag and file the back of the follower to an angle. This will allow the bolt to ride over it. It literally just takes a couple of minutes to strip and knock the corner off with a flat file.
