Looking at ordering a Manners stock with the MCS-DBM Mini Chassis. I have two questions will factory action screws going to work and be fine or will the chassis come with new action screws. Also for those who have a Manners with this chassis system how well do yall like it?

Re: Manners Stocks

They do come with the action screws. I love the mini-chassis. No bedding required, just drop in and go. They tend to be a little heavier though.

Which stock are you looking at?

Re: Manners Stocks

I think it would be a good choice. I like that it has a high comb and a wider foot print on the fore end of the rifle. It also has that M40A1 look which I have always liked.

Re: Manners Stocks

Exactly why I use them. I like the more traditional stock feel and don't like a too vertical grip. I used to have some HTGs and only have one left which will be getting replaced with a T3 hopefully in the next year. I like the higher comb and wider forend as well but while still having the traditional feel.

Yes from the pictures of the stock it looks to have a pretty good palm swell.

Rob, Yes sir the traditional look is hard to beat with a bolt action. Do you happen to know if a Timney Trigger will fit or will I need to have some modification done.

Re: Manners Stocks

If you order it they can inlet it to fit just about anything. Of the shelf I've read you have to mod it a tiny bit to fit a timney or send it back to manners and they will fix it for you.

Re: Manners Stocks

Sweet I'm pretty sold on a Manners and sounds like everyone is pleased with the stock and chassis. I'll probably put in for a order soon. How long does it usually take for the stock to be complete and shipped?
