Well I have put some time in and spent sleepless nights browsing, reading and trying to educate myself. I finally took the leap of faith and placed an order for a Manners T4A for my Rem 700 .308 (left handed of course)inletted for my Badger M5 DBM (which was my first purchase I made in the for sale section here. I chose the T4A over an AICS 2.0....

Now I continue to educate my self to pass the time as I play the 12-16 week waiting game for it to arrive.
As everyone here has stated, the CS at Manners was top notch. They answered all my question and provided me with some great suggestions as I place my order. I felt like a kid in a candy store while ordering it and got so excited that I forgot to ask about the flush cup mounts for the swivel sling studs.

Being a lefty which location is best to have the flush cup mounts installed? I had the stock ordered with the bottom studs. 2 in the front and one in the rear. I know I could still contact them and have them added if needed. Any help would be appreciated. I have never used a sling that mounts to the sides of a stock with flush cups.

Thanks.
Kevin

Re: Manners T4A flush cup location

I prefer to have as many options as possible. I have six on my rifle. If were spec'ing this one out, 'd go with at least the two on the bottom you already have covered and I'd add 1 front and 1 rear on the right side (for a left side bolt handle).

+1 for Tom and CS at Manners in general.

Traditional bottom locations, and also whichever side the bolt handle's not on.

Re: Manners T4A flush cup location

When locating the side FC on the buttstock end, note that the closer to the center of the rifle or action it is, the more muzzle clearance you have when slung muzzle-down.

Re: Manners T4A flush cup location

Thanks for the advice and suggestions. I'll have to make a call and probably end up adding two flush cups to the right (non bolt) side.
Much appreciated.
