They played a damn fine game, glad to see Duke out of it. Hoping they beat TTech who after they hired Bobby Knight, I dubbed 'The Fightin Idiots".
Excuse my language. But Auburn just got screwed. Double dribble and Auburn gets the ball back then end. I agree with the last foul and making all three from the line. Well good for him, but not calling that double dribble ina game like it is screwed up. I’d rather get blown away then to lose controversially. Thank the Lord for Jack Daniels.
Right there with you. Completely agree with the foul, but hell no on missing the double dribble, Inexcusable. Hopefully the refs are penalized and don’t get the championship game for it.

Hopefully the final game will get better officials.... kinda strange bitching about the officials. I’m usually the one that pokes fun at others for blaming them. At least I’m not alone. I agree, Auburn got screwed. Its certainly not Virginia's fault, but in my book there will always be a small asterisk by this one (like the one by Roger Maris's breaking Ruth's record), especially if we win it all.
Dont accuse Virginia of being dirty. The onus is all on the referees. Auburn got fucked but dont blame Virginia.
Almost every game had a blown call that could have changed the outcome. A lot of games; football, BB all have blown calls. There was a possible Auburn double dripple at top of the key late in the game against Kentucky that was not called. TT on the out of bounds. Refs missed too many to track calls on Duke. The list goes on and on. You hear it many times mostly from the color commutator you cant miss a call or call one like that in games like this or out the end of the big game. If it is penalty/foul in the first min of the first game of the season or the last min of the last game, a penalty / foul should be called. Refs shouldn't change the out come of any game but they do.

I take it back. After watching the film, the guy guarding Jerome was all over and fouled him into losing the ball. A good win.

Yes you are correct. Auburn missed to many opportunities. Missed lay-ups and free throws ( VA does not miss these). I just saw we are losing two guys next year so maybe we can get back again.
