Rifle Scopes March optics..warranty fat nope

^ I thought the same thing, user damage is not the same as a manufactures defect. Even though their repair cost may seem high, I don't see how it is a warranty issue either.
There are only a couple manufactures (Vortex) that have no questions asked, repair anything warranties.

This is like backing your new car into a post and then trying to say the manufacture's warranty should cover the body work.

Hi,

Everyone has comment on price yet nobody has asked to see this "Ding"....

Like an auto body shop telling me how much my ding should have cost to fix but never seeing the ding.

Sincerely,
Theis

Well the size of the ding doesn't mean shit if the only fix is replacing the entire tube, which means disassembling the scope and rebuilding it in a new main tube; which I suspect is what March is going to do.

$1800 scope. Dinged the tube $895 to fix? NF was 300. Wtf. Seems high.

Economies of scale. A NF comes out of Light Optic Works for $300 - $400 unit cost : large scale mass produced
item. The marketing spend is then about the same per unit. March is low volume, no marketing dept boutique
operation . The tube is billet machined with 4mm walls, what did you hit it with ?

Only the 34mm tubes are 4mm according to March’s advertising. Granted, I’ve never cut any of my March’s in half to check and I doubt any one here has!
