I have the March 10x60 tactical scope and love it.Unbeleivable scope! I am now looking at buying another one in the 80x. Any one had any recent experiance with one? Likes? Dislikes?

I have no personal experience, but have only heard good things from them. Also, the video of a 1000yd target through the 80x is impressive.
Personally, I would hold out on purchasing a March optic as the warranty is only 5 years. I know I know, I'll probably never have to use it, but if I drop that chunk of change I expect a lifetime warranty. Their website explanation sounds like March stands by their product, but without extensive real-world independent reviews & experience I plan on sending my money elsewhere.
Since you already own one, I'd love to know how they stack up against S&B, Hensoldt, and Premier for glass, reticle, knobs, illumination, etc.

I have 3-24x42 and love everything except dot in reticle center-it is too big

Kelby unless I can find a good used on in either an 60x or 80x

Shar, there are several postings on 6mmbr on the 8x80, the general conclusion is the scope got a little fuzzy over 60 and a little darker, these reviews were actual owners of both models.
