The left's goal since the early 1900's has been to infiltrate government, education, intelligence, the military, law enforcement, the media, the courts, the nuclear family unit, racial movements, religion... any of the pillars of democracy. And destroy from within. That's the playbook... that's how it's done.
Well, they've infiltrated. We have communist Pope. The Congress is full of them... worse, the Congressional STAFF is full of them.. Every department in government. Military brass that had to pass litmus tests (a-la Stalinist 1930's). Police chiefs... every teacher, college, press office, elementary school. McCarthy used to see Communists hiding under every rock. And got destroyed for it.... But could it be that he was right? And that his destruction was brought about by the early... Swamp? After all, who was in DC in the 1950's.... Oh yeah, hundreds of thousands of brand new "New Deal" liberals who had 16 years under Roosevelt and another 8 under Truman... to seize power and take over everything. And just make it worse from there!
The difference vs. other nations and timeperiods is that we have a communications forum that wasn't around in decades past... and in the USA, a Constitution that is hard to erode. Not impossible... but hard. And right now we are lucky as hell that we have a President who is possibly our last gasp to keep the swamp from destroying everything.
That said...
On the day after Obamacare was passed and signed, the late Charles Krauthammer said something that I thought was utterly brilliant, short and to the point. He said that "This bill represents the high-watermark for liberalism in America." In other words, he believed it was not only a bridge too far, but would represent the rollback of the liberal/progressive/socialist/communist agenda. Because it was such a stretch and so unpopular and so, well, un-American.
So far, he seems to have been right. The wheels are coming off. Badly. The 'game plan' has had a bunch of sand thrown in the vaseline... rocks in the gears. In the form of a major disrupt-er that the American People were smart enough to elect. So there is hope... because, well, Red State America saw the problem. And they did something about it. Them deplorables are pretty Smart, eh?
But do you think the Communists are going to go quietly? Have they ever? Remember, that after they were defeated in Europe in 1989... they became oligarchs... facists... national socialists. The ones that were 'true' ideologues... hijacked the environmental movement. And went to law school.
There is more than one way to bring down a society. Rotting it from within is high on the list.
November... eyes on the prize in November people. That's the breakout at Normandy. That's the Inchon Landing. That's Kursk. After that, we roll back everything. But the November election has to be successful.
