A Marine friend of my stepson, was stabbed to death Saturday night on the the streets of New Orleans. He and his wife were leaving the Marine Corps Ball, walking back to their hotel room. When some thug in a vehicle started shouting obsence gestures at her. She said something in return, he stopped the vehicle and got out and shoved her to the ground. While her husband tried to get in the way and defend her he was stabbed several times in the chest. The thug got back in the vehicle and drove off. He died a couple of hours later in the hospital. It is a shame that he died her in the streets of America in his dress blues after returning home from Afghanistan safely. Just wanted to pass this along. SEMPER FI

That's really terrible and especially scary because I had a Marine buddy in New Orleans this weekend. :\ People have no respect anymore, seriously. And yes, I'm with Dregs on this one.
Edit: and I hope she's able to idenify the man. He gets put in jail and terrible violent things happen to that guy. Maybe he'll get stabbed multiple times in the chest, I hope. :| I'm the spiteful type.

sorry for your loss, im pretty sure one of these days that guy will bring his knife to a gun fight, and find his place in this world.

Sad to say the Marine was laid to rest today here in Corpus Christi.At the viewing last night and the funeral today, there was standing room only. May his family find peace and comfort through all of this, and may the SOB that did this injustice get what he deserves.

In my opinion when this scumbag fucker gets caught and makes it to court he should be charged federally, and executed. IMO
