Which type do you use for bedding and where do I get it?

for the bedding i use whatever is availible the cheapest wether that be Marine Tex or Devcon steel putty. I find the cheapest and in stock and rock whichever one i can.

th work well I have been experimenting with them er the posts here and it is easier than it sounds

Devcon is the stuff to use, it walks all over Marinetex in terms of durability and compressibility. JMHO, but spec sheets speak.

If you use MarineTex for rifle bedding be sure its the grey stuff. The white isn't strong enough.

I prefer DevCon.

+1 on the Devcon. MarineTex doesn't maintain its integrity over time. Becomes flaky as the filler used in MarineTex is gypsum....

+1 Marinetex is also self leveling and has a tendency to run out or settle out. I'll never use Marinetex again.
