Leupold has a pretty good repuation and as many complaints as I have heard about them I have never her of leupold not fixing the problem promptly as their warranty and CS are pretty good. The scope you are looking at should be a great scope for that rifle there are other options out there but that one should work well. Personally I would look at a diffrent reticle then the basic mil-dot. It's just a prefrence thing but the TMR or one of the horus reticles might be a more versatile option for you.

hey thank you very much for your reply I appreciate the info/ advice i did see they have two other reticles for this scope but the price jumps up about 700 on the front focal reticles are they really that much better of an option to were it would be worth the extra money?

Just got my scope today, I am soo happy I got tho Horus reticle, I will never buy a scope with out it ever again. I am ripping my nightforce off my gun and bolting this one one and that's the way it's going to stay forever. Hands down the best reticle I have ever looked through and anyone how says its too busy or crowded is insane, once you use it, it's a god sent, will change the way I shoot for the better, so much adjustment and hold over spots. Mind blowing
