The rumors are true.
I was able to place a pre-order for a H-59 MK 6. Hope to see it sometime in January. A couple online retailers show it as a back-ordered item already. Street price should be right there with the H-58 and Tremor 2.
Leupold # 119213 Mark 6 3-18x44mm (34mm) M5B2 Matte Front Focal H59.

Good to know. I understand that many don't care for the Horus reticles, but I like my H59...
Horus seems really polarize folks into 2 camps; either they love them or they hate them.
The naysayers had me convinced it was too busy and I had a TMR on the order form but switched to the H-59 at the last minute. I hope to love it.

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting for the news that Leupold had picked up the H-59 so I could send my Mk8 3.5-25 (H-58) in for a reticle swap to the H-59. Excellent news and thanks for letting us know.

Whats the difference? Is it that much better than the H58? I have the H58 in my MK6 and love it so far. What does Leupold charge for a reticle change anyways?

Thanks for the graphic Thrusty, I was doing the search for that thread when you posted it.

30Cal, that graphic doesn't really capture the difference in crosshair thickness but it's apparent when you look through the 2 side by side. The thickness of the H-58 never really "bothered" me until I bought an H-59. Once I looked through them both side by side I just REALLY preferred the H-59. It's just a personal preference thing for me, and in a scope that expensive, it's worth the money for a swap. I think Leupold typically charges a few hundred dollars for a reticle swap. With the independent cost of the Horus reticles, I'm not sure how much more expensive the swap will be.
I certainly wasn't implying the H-58 sucked, just that after using both, I like the 59 better.
