Just got back from the range and it seems this scope is not adjusting properly. it is a mark 4 4.5-14. at 100 yards, in order to get the target in focus, there is a very narrow range on the parallax knob that will get the target clear... like narrow enough where it's a royal pain in the ass to get it focused. then going to 200-300, I can increase it slightly, and it seems to be in focus OK. still though, with the target in focus, the parallax itself seems to be out of whack.. the crosshairs are just not clear like I think they should be.
Is it possible that if the rings are over torqued it could cause this problem? I have an IOR 20 MOA base, with seekins rings...
also, just for reference, I had my AR with a vortex viper right next to me, and I did not have this issue, even with a higher power setting on the vortex.
any ideas, or should I just send it back to leupold for them to inspect?
