Marlin 795 upgrades

Hey gun nuts,
I plan on getting a 795 in the near future for just plain fun.
I need some ideas for upgrades, i plan on getting tech sites and a sling. What about any stock mods (barrel channel, bedding etc.)
Pictures would be nice.
