given how my 308 shoots, and how alot of other folks are praising the accuracy of these rifles, the .223 is a welcome addition to the lineup. I personaly have no need for a larger rifle right now (although a 300WM would be NICCCE), the 223 is a game changer for me and would be a good rifle to get my son and wife into centerfire, as well as doing a good job on thumping predators in western PA.
I know alot of you guys are fans of 223 as well, usually in the AR platform, but I for one am happy to see a bolt gun in the affordable market with the quality and performance of the X7 line, even if it is now a Marlington rifle...
