Very nice! I've wanted to do a k98 sniper for a while.
Nice looking rifle. Good shooting. The replicas are the way to go for shooting.

Very nice rifle!! What action are you using? Scope? Mount? most importantly what load do you shoot? Mine is a Yugoslav 1944 most likely used to shoot AT Germans than by them.
Accumounts scope mount and a Russian repro scope. After two bad experiences with the repros I mounted a Weaver K4. This rifle loves Sierra 175 spitzers and 200 matchkings.
