I dont have access to a steel magazine for a AR10, but if someone happens to have both a PMAG and a steel magazine; is there a differance in the ability to have a slightly longer overall length round in a steel magazine. The PMAG looks like the 2.810 MAX book recommendation is about all that will fit. Just curious. I know it wouldnt be by much if at all, but every little bit might help.

I think my cproducts will allow 2.83" and I've heard armalite mags will go to 2.85".
However my best shooting loads are all 2.8" so I see it as a non-issue.
