is the ballistics claim of 1100 yards or 1250 meters for 300 win mag realistic? i would love to be able to shoot such a distance, but need to work more on 6-8 first, before i would try. it would be nice to know that i had that capability though

I do it with a 308 win. You need the right ammo, the right rifle, the right scope, the right ballistics computer with the right soft wear, the right micrometer, lots of practice with reading the wind and lots and lots of shooting working on your "BRASS". I would advice you not to get into long range shooting unless you’re good with selling everything you own and livening on top ramen noodles. But other than that it is very gravitating and fun.
