Because that would be complicating a simple situation. Makes about as much sense as adding a second steering wheel to a car.

Adjust it, check it, shoot.

No, it wouldn't. It isn't simply a sight alignment issue, it's the image and the reticle not being on the same plane. Having two separate reticles would not only complicate matters, it wouldn't work in the first place. You'd then need BOTH reticles planes matching up, something that isn't exactly easy.
