Okay, when rifle hunting you must have on 400 inches of blaze orange AND deer supposedly see in black and white/greyscale. Has anybody every thought of a ghillie with blaze orange strips in it? The deer supposedly wouldn't know that the color was orange but it would give you a three dimensional effect and still satisfy hunter orange requirments.

I had wondered how just a straight blaze orange ghillie would work for deer. It still breaks up your outline and if they can't see the orange then it should work right? Never heard anyone else mention it so I thought maybe I was crazy.

My state says solid unbroken blaze orange.

So won't work here.

Deer see movement. I had two deer within 15 yards of me sitting on a chair. No face mask or gloves. Didn't pay a bit of attention to me. Move a finger and they are gone. Now turkey or coyote different story. My buddy never wears camo and kills as many as me.
