Anyone have the poop on McGowan blanks? I'm looking at an Odin Works DMR barrel and they use McGowan blanks.

Answering late.... but from what I've heard, McGowan has a good reputation in the bench rest/target shooting world. I actually bought one of the Odin Works 18" DMR barrels, and I'm going to be assembling the rifle on Monday. Of course you never really know until you shoot the thing, but it seems to be very well made.
I've had one on order for 16 weeks now, was quoted ~12 weeks upon ordering. They are very flexible and will make whatever custom profile you want, and the pricing is very reasonable. It remains to be seen when I will get it, or how it will shoot though...
Been very happy with the two I have gotten from them. One 308 20in and one 18in DMR they built for me. They bolth shoot very well. Just ordered a 11.5in last Friday and they quoted me 16weeks.
