Just had someone ask and I haven't, but has anyone put a Remington varmint contour barrel in a McMillan Remington Classic? Thanks.

The Classic will take up to a #5. For a Rem Varmint contour, if you are looking for a more classic stock, look to the Remington Hunter model or the Remington Varmint if you have a shorter barrel (The Varmint has a short forend)

Here is McMillan Varmint stock with a heavy barrel. It's a straight taper down to .675. The varmint has a high cheek and wide forend. I think it would be a perfect choice for a hunting stock with a varmint barrel.
