This may be the dumb question of the day:
When using a McMillan stock inlet for factory BDL metal, do I need to use the stock mag (tube) that comes with the factory setup? It didn't seem to fit so I just left it out but I don't want to crank live 270 WSM rounds through it in my basement to test it out.
That all said, it is the new A3 Hunter (sporter) stock in the McWoody pattern. The rifle is an enhanced 700 with an engraved receiver and damn if it doesn't look and feel amazing! I will post pics when the new glass and mounts get here next week.
