McMillan stock question?

I am looking to get the McMillan a-4 stock for my rem 700 Sps varmint and have a question. They have them at midwayusa but in the description it says "semi inletted" but then in one of the reviews the guy was saying drop in fit was giving good accuracy. So what kind of fitting is needed by "semi inletted" ?

"semi inletted" usually means no magazine or bolt handle inletting. Also, no inlet for the floorplate. Made the mistake of buying one once. Lots of work to fit the action. Hope this helps. Paul.

Midway never orders "semi-inletted stocks from us. They order all fully inletted finished stocks.
