I am looking to pickup a McMillan stock for my Remington 700 SA .223 and came across a stock inletted for a Templar S/A RH and wanted to know if my 700 would fit in the stock as it is currently inletted. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Thanks! This forum is a wealth of great info. What does it cost (roughly) to have a stock inletted for a specific action?
Its posible, weve done it before BUT its a waste of time and money.a lot of our brother here REinlet only barrel channel for diferent contour and re inlet bottom of the stock from regular bdl to whichever BDM they prefer but in cant do the reverse.otherwise get a stock that suite your needs (action footprint barrel contour and bottom that you prefer)if your not sure you want more universal stock try a chassis like aics, whiskey etc..
