I just received one of the TMP stocks on special in the Winchester portion of the specials from McMillan. I got the last one right after they lowered the price to $475 and am glad I jumped on it. I really liked the feel of the HTG I had on my last rifle but wanted a wider forend. This stock kind of gives the best of both worlds. The only "problem" is its sniper fill so its a little on the heavy side and I have a 20" PBR barreled action coming that was supposed to be for a carry rifle but with no wait and a good price I couldn’t pass it up. Ill post some more pics when I get everything together.

P.S. does anyone know how the quality is on the Pacific Tool and Gage bottom metals? The action is coming with the DBM bottom metal and the stock is not inletted for it. Also, is there somewhere I can get the magwell insert if I buy the PTG bottom metal?

the PTG bottom metals are ok, but i believe your problem is the inletting.
as far as i know (which is very little...lol) the dbm bottom metal is completely different.
i hope for your sake i am in correct, but i do believe some MAJOR inletting is going to be involved.

That’s why I mentioned the PTG, my stock is inletted for a regular two piece bottom metal and not the DBM. I just realized that I would need the spring and follower as well. Is there anywhere I can get a whole setup? Bottom metal, spring, and follower.

Well I finally got it all together more or less. Thanks to a fellow hider I got a bottom metal assembly, although I still just might save up some money and send it over to Jeff at CDI for inletting of his bottom metal and bedding of the action. I apologize for the rings and scope, I’m going to go shooting on Sunday and my WOTAC won’t be here for another week or so.
