ok Got a good deal on a stock inletted for a surgeon xl action can i make it work for a remy long action or should i just sell it

It can be done but I don't know what the cost will be. Contact Chad at longrifles,inc.. He can fill in the current inlet and machine it for your desired action. He posts here so he might chime in.
You might also call McMillan and see if they can do it... although their wait time is usually very long.
