Mcree's Precision G5 TMAG Question

I just ordered a Mcree's G5 TMAG, and was wondering if anyone who has one knows of a way to attach a swivel stud to the buttstock for attaching a Accushot monopod (I was a knucklehead and ordered a swivel-stud attachment monopod, not knowing I'd be moving to a chassis so soon). I ordered the version with the Mcree buttstock attached, in folder configuration.

I believe there's a way to get a normal picatinny rail on the buttstock, so I was thinking you could add a picatinny to swivel stud adapter which are made by a few different companies, but it wouldn't be the cheapest or cleanest setup.

Well there is two holes under the buttstock for attaching a small pic rail for a a monopod. I believe they are the same thread pitch as a sling stud. Can you just thread one in?

Mine has screws under it for a rail.

I just got a threaded swivel stud from my gunsmith, hopefully it is threaded correctly for the holes in the Mcree, once it gets here. I will post pictures if it works out, so others can have something to go off of.

its 10-32 screw pitch. if thats what he sold you it should work fine

I have a pic rail along with an Acc Pod. To install the rail though it had to be machined a little because of the screw patterns.

The sling mount that came installed in the front of the chassis worked well once I cut it down a little in length. I do have one question though, I have been having problems with the magazines reliably cycling rounds. With around 2 or 3 rounds left in the magazine, I get the bolt sliding over the round instead of picking it up more often than not. If I push the mag upwards, it feeds fine. There is a little slack in the magazine well, but it feeds alright until it gets to 2 or 3 rounds remaining.

I'm running a savage 11 in the chassis, and I love the chassis itself, just need to figure out why it isn't cycling 100%

huh, seems to be working now... Hopefully it keeps up that way. Maybe a mag break-in issue?
